Teletherapy for men across North Carolina
Same work, from wherever you are. Licensed statewide, so if the drive is the reason this hasn't started, that reason is gone.
Who ends up here
Men who travel for work and cannot hold a standing Tuesday slot. Fathers whose only genuinely free hour is after the house goes quiet. Guys three hours from Charlotte who want this specific kind of counseling and are not going to drive six hours round trip to get it.
And a fair number of men who simply find it easier to start this way. Talking about something hard is a smaller step from your own truck than from an unfamiliar room. Some stay on video the whole time. Others use it to get going and switch to outdoor sessions once it stops feeling like a big deal.
How it runs
Sessions are 50 to 60 minutes, same as in person, and run on a secure video platform through the client portal. You get a link, you click it, and that is the entire setup.
The work does not change. It is still skills-focused and still aimed at what you are going to do differently between now and next week. What changes is only how you show up.
Practical answers
- Where do I need to be?
- Anywhere in North Carolina, and somewhere you can talk without being overheard. A parked truck counts. Plenty of men do exactly that.
- Is it as good as in person?
- For most of what men bring in, yes. If I think you would get more from being outdoors and you are close enough to do it, I will tell you.
- Can I mix the two?
- Yes, and a lot of people do. Outdoors when the week allows, video when it doesn’t.
- Can I do video on any day?
- Yes. Video is available any day of the week. Thursday and Friday are video only, and in-person sessions run Monday to Wednesday.
- What does it cost?
- $195 per session, 50 to 60 minutes, same as in person. Fees and insurance.
